Day +110 John continues to recover nicely. The date for him to return to culinary school is February 23! He is very happy to be able to return, not nervous at all about being tired, after all this will be the third time he has returned after chemo and I will have to trust he knows his limitations, as always.

Not much changed from this week to last. The only complaint and complication is he got an ingrown toe nail and it began to get infected. We almost made it an entire week without having to call Alicia, but she said at least we are not calling her 5:00 on Friday for help. Dr. Wolf put him on 10 days of Levequin an antibiotic and I took John to see Dr. DiGiacamo, my podiatrist. I figure when the biggest crisis is John having a sore toe we are doing pretty well. Dr. Wolf said when he sees John he often is afraid to say how well he is doing without spitting over his shoulder to ward off the bad spirits.

John's platelets are 176, his hemoglobin went up to a whopping 13.5 and if stays we will stop giving John the weekly Epogen injections, and his WBC was a bit lower.

Good news on the home front, Scott got a full time job at Reid and Smith a great law firm in the City (Thanks Jen and Annie!).
